About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team at Alteos GmbH. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure and well-tested features for our innovative Insurance Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software features that meet business requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and platform engineers, to deliver business goals
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Drive technical improvements for product quality, performance, and security
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a software engineer on multiple topics
  • Experience in agile teams and understanding of Scrum practices and ceremonies
  • Proficiency in NodeJs, Typescript, Javascript, MongoDB, PostgresDB, Redis, AWS services, Docker, Git, CI/CD
  • Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, test-driven development, automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment
  • Knowledge of various design principles and architectures
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
