Working Student Meteorological Consulting (m/f/d)As part of our growing team, you will play a vital role in supporting our meteorological consulting services. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Quality control of meteorological measurement data
- Preparation of monthly reports for operational solar measurement stations
- Conducting solar resource assessments and contributing to the improvement of our standards
- Database management and maintenance (HDF database)
- Active involvement in meteorological campaigns, including data evaluation and site-specific measurements
- Assistance with the installation of remote stations
- Compiling research results through quantitative analyses and qualitative methods, and preparing management-oriented reports
- Creating compelling presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Your Profile:
- Major in meteorology or a comparable academic qualification
- Deep understanding of meteorological principles
- Proficiency in Python and LaTeX
- Experience with GIS (QGIS), PVSyst, and AutoCAD is advantageous
- Interest in renewable energy markets, meteorology, environmental measurements, and economics
- Basic understanding of electronics and measurement principles is beneficial
- Team player with an open-minded personality, thriving in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments
- Analytical, data-oriented, and focused on efficiency and solutions
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
- Fluency in English and German; additional language skills (e.g., French or Spanish) are an asset
- Self-motivated, meticulous, and independent working style
- Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills
