At Dornier Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Meteorological Consultant to join our team.

As a Meteorological Consultant, you will be responsible for:

Performing quality control of meteorological measurement data
Preparing monthly reports for operational solar measurement stations
Conducting solar resource assessments and improving our standards
Handling database hosting and maintenance (HDF database)
Enabling smooth operations of solar measurement campaigns through active involvement with the met team
Assisting in the installation of remote stations
Compiling research results and writing management-oriented reports
Creating meaningful presentations for internal and external stakeholders

We are looking for a candidate with:

Academic qualifications in meteorology or comparable fields
Deep understanding of meteorology
Profound experience with Python and LaTeX
Experience with GIS (QGIS), PVSyst, and AutoCAD as an advantage
Interest in renewable energy markets, meteorology, environmental measurements, and economics
Basic understanding of electronics and measurement principles
Team player with open-minded personality in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments
Analytical, data-oriented, and focused on efficiency and solutions
Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
Fluency in English and German, with additional knowledge in other languages as an advantage
Self-motivated, careful, and independent working style
Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills
