Role Overview
As a Senior ITOM Solution Architect (f/m/d), you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing solution architecture for our IT Operations Management (ITOM) Event Management solutions within a unified ServiceNow ecosystem utilized by a global user base. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, product leaders, and technical experts in an agile environment, you will be responsible for developing technical and architectural frameworks, contributing to the implementation and management of SAP's Service Management applications and infrastructure. Your ability to comprehend business requirements, design relevant solution architectures, and lead implementations with the agile development team will be crucial in this role.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design for ITOM Event Management initiatives.
- Collaborate with agile teams to ensure that architectural designs are effectively translated into functional products.
- Oversee architectural design, development, and optimization across various agile teams.
- Demonstrate proficiency in ITOM/ITSM business processes, transforming business needs into reliable and straightforward solutions.
- Promote continuous enhancements with an emphasis on quality, stability, usability, and maintainability.
- Embrace a DevOps mindset, taking operational ownership of your solutions.
- Foster a trusted partnership with internal business and technical stakeholders, promoting a cohesive 'ONE TEAM' approach from delivery to operations.
- Serve as a thought leader and mentor for fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or related disciplines.
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in architecture or development, with a focus on ServiceNow ITOM.
- Experience with ServiceNow Event Management, including the integration of various monitoring systems and the configuration of correlation rules.
- Extensive knowledge of IT/Cloud DevOps and the ability to design large-scale IT systems.
- Familiarity with agile application delivery processes and methodologies (e.g., SAFe).
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with a passion for execution and self-management.
- Strategic thinking capabilities along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
