Role Overview
As a Senior ITOM Solution Architect (f/m/d), you will be responsible for defining and implementing solution architectures for our IT Operations Management (ITOM) Event Management systems within our unified ServiceNow environment, utilized by a vast user base globally. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, product leaders, and technical experts in an agile framework will be key to your success. Your role will involve crafting technical and architectural strategies, contributing to the deployment and management of SAP's Service Management applications and infrastructure. You will leverage your understanding of business needs to design effective solution architectures and lead implementation efforts alongside the agile development teams. Your expertise and commitment will be crucial in establishing a reliable and user-friendly solution.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design for ITOM Event Management solutions.
- Collaborate with sprint teams to ensure that architectural designs are effectively translated into functional products.
- Oversee architectural design, development, and refactoring across multiple agile teams.
- Demonstrate proficiency in ITOM/ITSM business processes, translating business requirements into dependable and straightforward solutions.
- Drive ongoing enhancements with a focus on quality, stability, usability, and maintainability.
- Embrace a DevOps mindset to take operational ownership of your solutions.
- Foster a trusted partnership with internal business and technical stakeholders, promoting a unified team approach from delivery to operations.
- Serve as a thought leader and mentor for fellow team members.
Qualifications:
- A degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in architecture or development, particularly focused on ServiceNow ITOM.
- Experience with ServiceNow Event Management, including integration of various monitoring systems and configuration of correlation rules.
- Extensive knowledge of IT/Cloud DevOps and the ability to design large-scale IT systems.
- Familiarity with agile application delivery processes and methodologies (e.g., SAFe).
- A collaborative leader and team player with excellent coordination skills, driven by execution, and self-motivated.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
