TEAM INSIGHT
Become part of our vibrant global Enterprise Architects team within the SAP Customer Services & Delivery division. We serve as strategic partners to regional Enterprise Architect teams, assisting our clients in navigating digital transformation through innovative SAP technologies. Our focus includes advancing the RISE with SAP initiative, endorsing Clean Core principles, and enhancing the adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). We are dedicated to supporting critical customer engagements worldwide, working closely with regional teams to address high-priority customer needs. Our strength lies in our ability to tackle complex and undefined challenges, guiding our clients toward effective solutions.
YOUR ROLE
As a Chief Enterprise Architect (f/m/d), you will:
- Develop a robust enterprise architecture framework that aligns with customer objectives, collaborating with virtual account teams as a transformation partner.
- Guide clients through their cloud transition, emphasizing adoption and scalability.
- Offer enterprise architecture insights utilizing RISE with SAP methodologies and Clean Core principles to maximize the benefits of SAP's cloud offerings.
- Act as a Transformation Partner for CIOs and other C-level executives, enhancing architectural effectiveness.
- Identify and mitigate technical adoption risks to ensure successful implementation.
- Align clients and partners with SAP's Clean Core strategy, accelerating BTP adoption and advocating for SAP best practices.
- Provide valuable customer context to all teams, enhancing overall customer engagement and experience.
- Communicate the advantages of the proposed target architecture and outline the necessary steps for realization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, reliable, and adaptable cloud environments for critical business processes.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Transformation, Architectural & Solution Expertise:
- Proven experience in delivering enterprise transformation initiatives and aligning customer goals with architectural frameworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of the SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star).
- Hands-on experience with Business Technology Platform components, including application development, automation, data analytics, integration, and AI, alongside practical knowledge of S/4HANA applications.
- Strong grasp of Cloud & Clean Core strategies, with familiarity in SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
- Insight into SAP's Business AI roadmap, including identifying relevant use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory methodologies.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 15+ years in customer-facing roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with a focus on comprehensive architectural design for hybrid solution environments.
- Deep knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, with experience in BTP components and services.
- Technical or functional expertise in S/4HANA.
- Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory methodologies and Clean Core principles.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills in English, particularly at senior management and C-level interactions.
- Proficiency in German is advantageous.
- A mindset geared towards strategic thinking, continuous learning, and business acumen.
- Understanding of both on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions.
- Professional training and certifications (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect, TOGAF).
