AV Event Technician Opportunity

Lorien's client, a leading AV specialist, is seeking an AV Event Technician to provide technical support for corporate events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage client-provided systems, tools, and applications in designated live event areas and meeting rooms.
  • Maintain the readiness of assigned event spaces and meeting rooms by conducting regular and pre-event equipment checks.
  • Handle first and second-level incident management and escalate third-level incidents to the technical manager as needed.
  • Collaborate with peers across different sites and delivery channels to execute live events.
  • Keep configuration management records updated using the client's preferred systems.
  • Participate in post-event analysis sessions and build and sustain client relationships through effective client management.
  • Aid in the ongoing refinement of operational procedures and processes.
  • Engage in both incident and problem management tasks.
  • Work with maintenance teams to ensure event spaces are maintained to the highest standards and collaborate with property management to deliver professional services to clients.
  • Focus on continuous service improvement.
Event Coordination:
  • Schedule, organize, and coordinate the necessary technology services for town halls or other audio/visual events following the client's SOP.
  • Be available to resolve client concerns during the setup and execution of events.
  • Engage in incident and problem management activities.
  • Liaise with external vendors to secure event services and equipment not available in-house.

Requirements: A reasonable understanding of how to operate and service Audio Visual Technology in environments such as auditoriums, boardrooms, and flexible presentation spaces. Industry experience in fields related to live event production or a freshly graduated technical degree of relevance.
