Integration Technology Specialist

The position of a technology integration specialist involves the design and execution of connections between internal systems and external partners, as well as the enhancement of existing connections. This role includes providing first and second level support for EDI and API incidents affecting a network of over 300 external business partners and more than 60 internal software systems across the European region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure workflow-based integrations, including the mapping of standard formats such as EDIFACT, IDOC, JSON, X.12, XML, and others, transforming data into our internal format or directly into the required destination format.
- Familiarity with communication protocols including AS2, OFTP, SFTP, and API.
- Manage projects, conduct functional and integration testing, and maintain comprehensive implementation and change documentation.
- Carry out patching, maintenance, and configuration adjustments of middleware solutions.
- Analyze incidents and propose corrective measures.
- Monitor alert notifications from middleware systems and the service desk, resolving or escalating issues as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- A completed professional training or a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in EDI message types and protocols for electronic data interchange, and/or experience with API-based communication.
- Knowledge of EDI middleware, particularly Lobster data and/or Boomi.
- Understanding of network technology and security protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in adhering to change management and control processes.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
