Senior Consultant Financial Instrument Accounting & Valuation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant Financial Instrument Accounting & Valuation to join our team at KPMG. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on financial instrument accounting and valuation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on financial instrument accounting and valuation matters, including the application of IFRS and HGB.
Develop and implement financial instrument accounting and valuation strategies for clients, including the analysis of complex financial transactions and the development of financial models.
Collaborate with clients to identify and address financial instrument accounting and valuation risks, and develop and implement risk management strategies.
Stay up-to-date with changes in financial instrument accounting and valuation regulations and standards, and provide guidance to clients on the implications of these changes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and provide exceptional client service and support.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in financial instrument accounting and valuation, preferably in a consulting or industry setting.
Strong knowledge of financial instrument accounting and valuation regulations and standards, including IFRS and HGB.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement complex financial models.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
