Job Title: Aviation Underwriter Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Underwriter Team Lead to join our team in DACH. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing a team of underwriters and ensuring that our aviation underwriting operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of underwriters in the DACH region, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their targets and delivering high-quality underwriting services.
  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including sales, marketing, and claims, to ensure that our underwriting operations are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, customers, and other external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and ensure that our underwriting operations are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in aviation underwriting, with a strong understanding of the industry and its risks.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
