Job Title: Head of Internal Audit

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Internal Audit to join our team at HELM AG. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our internal audit function and ensuring that our business operations are in compliance with legal laws and group policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective internal audit plan to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and group policies.
  • Lead a small team of auditors to conduct audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Board and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain effective project and communication structures to ensure seamless execution of audit activities.
  • Provide expert advice on audit and governance matters to the Executive Board and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in auditing, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading internal audit teams and developing effective audit plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
  • Proficient in working with IT applications, including SAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
