Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to provide exceptional support to our clients in Germany, with a focus on Analog and Power Products.
As a Field Applications Engineer, you will serve as a vital link between our customers and various internal business units, acting as a key technical consultant for a diverse array of customer applications. Your main objective will be to secure new business through proactive, in-depth design and development assistance that addresses customer challenges.
Collaborate closely with the Account Manager, Digital FAE, and Connectivity FAE to foster strong relationships with customers.
Advocate for our comprehensive analog and power product range, which includes interfaces, power management solutions, sensors, and timing products.
Deliver technical expertise and support to enhance Renesas revenues in close partnership with the Sales team and Distribution network.
Embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and take ownership of driving business opportunities from demand creation to mass production.
Develop a robust technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions.
Travel within the designated territory to engage with customers and distributors.
QualificationsWe are looking for individuals with strong technical capabilities who demonstrate a collaborative mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You should possess a natural curiosity and a desire to stay updated with technological advancements, as well as your customers' developments. Sharing knowledge and taking initiative while thoughtfully assessing risks is crucial.
Ideally, candidates will have up to three years of relevant experience, or be recent graduates with strong technical knowledge and an interest in circuit design.
A degree in Electrical Engineering with expertise in Analog and Power Management applications is preferred.
Previous experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or equivalent is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to align customer needs with available resources through energetic and proactive approaches.
Strategic and commercial thinking is required to effectively plan and organize designs for target customers.
The ability to identify key projects and propose viable solutions is essential.
Candidates should be capable of working independently with strong analytical skills and self-motivation.
Proficiency in both German and English, along with mobility, are key requirements for this role.
