As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering professional and knowledgeable IT assistance to our internal customers. Your collaboration with various teams and contractors will be essential in troubleshooting IT system issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical support for internal employees, ensuring optimal performance of IT equipment and infrastructure.
  • Utilize hands-on experience with diverse support and infrastructure technologies, including PC hardware, software applications, and operating systems.
  • Deliver 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support, addressing all IT-related issues, regardless of size.
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining standards and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage project support, acting as a single point of contact for technical input on site and team initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison for contractors and external suppliers, effectively communicating technical requirements.
  • Execute change management requests and conduct audits as necessary.
  • Engage with suppliers for procurement and inventory management in line with operational needs.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests as required.

Basic Qualifications
- Proficient in supporting operating systems (Windows, Macintosh, or Linux)
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in advanced hardware and software troubleshooting
- Knowledge of IT equipment lifecycle management
- Ability to manage change effectively
- Proficient in English and basic German
