Key Responsibilities- Use your technical expertise and project management skills to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control projects for our OTS Field (IT) organization's technical solutions.
- Manage multiple large projects with minimal guidance that affect multiple locations in the MEU/EMEA region.
- Coordinate onsite and remote work with teams across the EMEA region and engage stakeholders to deliver results as a project leader with the support of OTS Field Leadership (IT) and staff resources.
- Organize and support project intake, prioritization, and resource capacity planning in support of multiple Regional IT Managers.
- Actively expand your scope of knowledge by learning about new technologies and project management methodologies to support the organization.
- Experience and education in IT project support in a multi-user high-availability environment, project management, or related management functions.
- Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
- Basic-level knowledge in one or more of the following: LAN, WAN, Wireless, Telecommunications, ERP systems.
- Understanding of large, complex, and globally distributed IT systems.
- Experience with Project Management Applications and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT-related field, or adequate work experience.
- Experience and education in IT project support in a multi-user high-availability environment, project management, or related management functions.
- Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
- Intermediate-level knowledge in one or more of the following: LAN, WAN, Wireless, Telecommunications, ERP systems.
- Understanding of large, complex, and globally distributed IT systems.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with procurement of IT equipment.
- Experience as a leader and mentor for project teams in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to manage high-priority projects.
- Ability to travel.
