Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at zahneins in Hamburg. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the standardization, optimization, and digitalization of all payroll processes, ensuring efficient and modern structures that contribute to employee satisfaction and the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to consolidate, standardize, and improve payroll processes across the zahneins group, in collaboration with our service providers and HR teams.
- Manage external payroll service providers and lead projects related to payroll, including the implementation of a group-wide system (SD Worx) for preparatory payroll accounting.
- Translate business and personnel strategies into clear requirements for processes and systems.
- Drive the transition from analog to digital processes, enhancing quality and efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, from tax consultants to employees in our practices.
Requirements:
- Completed studies or training in business administration, with relevant further education in the field of payroll management.
- Extensive experience in payroll accounting and related topics in personnel administration.
- Proven track record as an experienced expert in managing payroll and ideally various projects in the payroll area (e.g., payroll outsourcing, consolidation of external service providers, implementation of payroll software).
- Ability to think in overarching structures and act based on clear cost-benefit calculations.
- Operational experience in various payroll and accounting processes.
- Enjoyment of project and process management, as well as communication with various stakeholders.
- Ability to create clear action plans, drive continuous improvements, and expand and shape the payroll area within zahneins.
