Our Berlin office is a recent addition to our global tech center network and is expanding rapidly. Our tech teams operate in an agile manner, closely collaborating with our business units to develop #GlobalHausbank solutions from our home market.
Market Valuation and Risk Management (MVRM) Technology .
MVRM systems empower the bank's Risk functions and trading operations to compute, generate, analyze, and report on Deutsche Bank's key risk and capital metrics to regulators.
Our strategic platform - RiskFinder - serves as a comprehensive solution for Risk and Capital Metric Management, featuring a scalable full-revaluation calculation engine with 50,000 cores, a multi-petabyte Big Data analytics platform, and low-latency in-memory distributed grid reporting technologies.
This platform caters to multiple domains and clients, with significant demand growth anticipated over the next five years.
Our technology stack encompasses Java, PostgreSQL, OracleDB, Redis, Python, Scala, and Spark, along with various integrated off-the-shelf products.
You will be part of a dynamic feature team responsible for delivering a unified platform, engaging with expert users and business sponsors, and thriving in a fast-paced, global, and transparent culture.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features in Base and Advanced SAS. Engage fully in the software development lifecycle.
- Be prepared to work with a variety of technologies and components, including Unix scripts, Python, and databases. Act as a generalizing specialist.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners on both functional and non-functional requirements. Work alongside the QA team on test automation for new and existing features.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, driving improvements in stability and monitoring.
- Design and develop subsystems and intersystem protocols, contributing to the long-term architectural vision of the platform.
- Extensive knowledge of Base SAS and Advanced SAS.
- Experience with Oracle Database and a strong understanding of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL programming; exposure to Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Hive is a plus. Familiarity with Linux is beneficial.
- Solid understanding of relational data modeling.
- Desirable knowledge of Python and a willingness to learn.
- Experience with modern software development lifecycle tools such as Git, JIRA, Artifactory, and Jenkins/TeamCity is advantageous.
