Market Valuation and Risk Management (MVRM) Technology
The MVRM systems empower the bank's Risk functions and trading operations to compute, generate, analyze, and report on the bank's key risk and capital metrics to regulatory bodies.
Our strategic platform, RiskFinder, serves as a comprehensive solution for Risk and Capital Metric Management, featuring a scalable full-revaluation calculation engine with 50,000 cores, a multi-petabyte Big Data analytics platform, and low-latency in-memory distributed grid reporting technologies.
This platform is utilized by various domains and clients, with demand expected to rise significantly over the next five years.
Our technology stack encompasses Java, PostgreSQL, OracleDB, Redis, Python, Scala, and Spark, along with other integrated off-the-shelf products.
As a member of an empowered feature team, you will contribute to delivering a unified platform, engaging with expert users and business sponsors, all within a fast-paced, global, and transparent culture.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features in Base and Advanced SAS, actively participating in the entire software development lifecycle.
- Be prepared to engage with a variety of technologies and components, including Unix scripts, Python, and databases, acting as a generalizing specialist.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to define functional and non-functional requirements. Work alongside the QA team on test automation for both new and existing features.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, driving improvements in stability and monitoring.
- Design and implement subsystems and intersystem protocols, contributing to the long-term architectural vision of the platform.
- Extensive knowledge of Base SAS and Advanced SAS.
- Experience with Oracle Database and proficiency in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL programming; familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Hive is a plus. Working knowledge of Linux is also beneficial.
- Strong understanding of relational data modeling.
- Desirable to have knowledge of Python or a willingness to learn Python.
- Experience with modern software development lifecycle tools such as Git, JIRA, Artifactory, and Jenkins/TeamCity is advantageous.
