About the Role

In this position, you will oversee the execution of an RFI/RFQ process. This entails leading a team of architects, engineers, and support personnel to fulfill the necessary deliverables for the RFI/RFQ in accordance with HARMAN's established procedures. You will ensure that the RFI/RFQ response is delivered on schedule and meets the expected quality standards. Collaboration with Customer Group teams will be essential to successfully present the RFI/RFQ package to our clients.

Responsibilities

Assemble and guide a cross-functional team to develop the RFI/RFQ in line with HARMAN's processes, while adhering to the RFQ timeline. Utilize products and platform components that align with the portfolio strategy and overall sales approach. Guarantee that RFQ milestones and reviews are prepared to the expected quality standards, including Concept Reviews, Business Case Reviews, and Customer Technical Presentations. Consolidate the plan-of-record and evaluate risks, opportunities, assumptions, and deviations for a specific program to facilitate a robust decision-making process by management. Maintain dashboards for executive oversight of RFQ status, highlighting key performance indicators and consistent tracking. Ensure the delivery of all technical contributions to the program Business Case.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering. Over 8 years of relevant industry experience. Fundamental understanding of Program Management processes, including project estimation, execution, and process implementation. Exceptional organizational skills and comfort with detailed information, encompassing financial, technical tasks, and deliverables/action items. Extensive knowledge of industry principles, procedures, and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Comprehensive understanding of all supporting business functions and principles. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for effective communication across all organizational levels.

Additional Eligibility

5+ years of experience in the automotive sector, particularly in Infotainment, Car Audio, Speakers, Electronics, Clusters, ADAS, or Central Compute Units. Experience with automotive RFQs. Knowledge of the automotive business landscape. Willingness to travel up to 15%, both domestically and internationally. Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening as a condition of employment.
