Integration Technology Specialist

The position of a Technology Integration Expert involves the design and execution of interfaces connecting internal systems with external partners, as well as enhancing existing connections. This role includes providing first and second level support for EDI and API-related incidents across a network of over 300 external business partners and more than 60 internal software systems within the European region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure workflow-based interfaces, including the mapping of standard formats such as EDIFACT, IDOC, JSON, X.12, XML, and others, either converting them into our internal format or directly into the destination format.
- Familiarity with communication protocols including AS2, OFTP, SFTP, and API.
- Oversee project management, functional and integration testing, and maintain comprehensive implementation and change documentation.
- Conduct patching, maintenance, and configuration adjustments of middleware software.
- Analyze incidents and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor alert notifications from middleware systems and the service desk, resolving or escalating issues as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- A completed professional training or a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience and understanding of EDI message types and protocols utilized for electronic data interchange, along with knowledge of API-based communication.
- Experience with EDI middleware, particularly Lobster data and/or Boomi.
- Understanding of network technology and security protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with change management and control processes.
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
