Glasfasermonteur / LWL-Monteur: Expert in Fiber Optic Installation and Maintenance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fiber Optic Technician / LWL Installer to join our team at Spie. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fiber optic networks.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance of Fiber Optic Networks
- Splicing of LWL cables in connectors and distribution units
- Performance of and interpretation of final measurements and measurement results
- Self-motivated and performance-oriented handling of installation projects and documentation of performed activities
- Commissioning, functional, and safety testing of fiber optic networks
- Analysis and elimination of faults in fiber optic installations, as well as measurement and correction of cable faults
- Requirements and Qualifications
- Completed training in the field of electrical engineering / communication technology (e.g. electrician / electronics technician / telecommunications technician) or equivalent professional experience in project business
- Valid driver's license, C1E is desirable
- FIST, E- and MMS certification, Dibcom certification, and further experience with measurements and evaluations of measurement protocols are desirable
- Effective, self-reliant, and independent working style, as well as a confident and friendly demeanor
