Job Title: Telecommunications Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team at Spie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of fiber optic networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Splicing of Fiber Optic Cables: You will be responsible for splicing fiber optic cables in junction boxes and distribution facilities, ensuring high-quality connections and minimal downtime.
  • Measurement and Testing: You will execute and interpret final measurements and measurement results, ensuring that our networks meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Assembly and Documentation: You will perform assembly projects and document all activities performed, ensuring that our records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Network Commissioning and Testing: You will commission, functionally test, and safety test fiber optic networks, ensuring that they are fully operational and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Fault Analysis and Troubleshooting: You will analyze and troubleshoot faults on fiber optic installations, including measuring and fixing cable faults.
  • Education and Experience: You will have completed training in electrical engineering or communication technology, or have relevant professional experience in project business.
  • Driver's License and Certifications: You will possess a driver's license class B, and C1E is desirable. FIST or E- and MMS certificate, Dibkom certification, and further experience with measurements and evaluation of measurement protocols are also desirable.
  • Personal Qualities: You will have an effective, independent, and autonomous way of working, as well as a confident and friendly demeanor.
