Position: Investment Banking Associate - Healthcare Sector

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Department: Corporate & Investment Banking

Key Responsibilities:

As an Investment Banking Associate, you will take on various responsibilities with a growing level of accountability:

  • Prepare presentation materials, management reports, and memoranda for M&A, ECM, or cross-product transactions.
  • Develop financial models and conduct valuation and analytical assessments.
  • Act as a vital team member in daily project execution, engaging in specific project tasks and workflows.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across different countries and product lines during the organization and execution phases.
  • Conduct comprehensive company and sector analyses, including profiles and market assessments.
  • Perform target and buyer screenings, including analyses of acquisition capacities as needed.
  • Mentor and guide Analysts, interns, and VIEs.
  • Stay informed about significant market developments in Healthcare, M&A, and related equity and debt topics.

Candidate Profile:

Experience & Technical Skills:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance, focusing on M&A origination and execution, or relevant experience in healthcare from a top-tier consulting or financial services firm.
  • A strong Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a healthcare-related field.
  • Ideally, prior knowledge of the Healthcare industry.
  • Proficient technical and analytical skills, with advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and CapitalIQ.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in any other European language is advantageous.
