Position: Investment Banking Associate - Healthcare Sector

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Department: Corporate & Investment Banking

Key Responsibilities:

As an Investment Banking Associate, you will take on a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Preparing presentation materials, management reports, and documents for M&A, ECM, or strategic client discussions.
  • Developing financial models and conducting valuation and analytical assessments.
  • Participating actively in project execution, contributing to specific tasks and work streams.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across various regions and product lines during project organization and execution.
  • Conducting company and sector analyses, including detailed profiles.
  • Performing target and buyer screenings, including acquisition capacity assessments as necessary.
  • Mentoring and guiding Analysts, interns, and VIEs.
  • Staying informed about significant market developments in Healthcare, M&A, and related equity and debt topics.

Candidate Profile:

Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance, particularly in M&A origination and execution, or relevant experience in healthcare from a top-tier consulting or financial services firm.
  • A strong academic background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a healthcare-related field.
  • Preferably, prior knowledge of the Healthcare industry.
  • Proficient technical and analytical skills, with excellent command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and CapitalIQ.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in any other European language is advantageous.
