About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our team at HYDRO Systems KG. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for the on-time and cost-optimized procurement of spare parts and individual parts according to drawings and external work processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure spare parts and individual parts from suppliers in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Manage the entire procurement process, from request for quotation to order processing and supplier query clarification.
- Collaborate closely with internal interfaces, such as order management, service desk, and shopfloor.
- Support the supplier search, evaluation, and selection process.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers at the position level.
- Contribute to the implementation of a modern supply chain management system.
Requirements:
- Degree in business or technical studies or completed apprenticeship with relevant experience.
- Relevant professional experience in technical purchasing in a metal processing industrial company.
- Service- and customer-oriented, assertive, and team-oriented with a structured way of working.
- Good communication skills and affinity for deadlines, costs, and numbers.
- Experience with MS Office and advanced knowledge of SAP.
- Fluent written and spoken German and confident English skills.
