Job Title: Lead Site Management

TenneT is a leading player in the energy transition, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage a team of site managers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our construction sites.
  • Ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with TenneT's quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement site management plans to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure that all site activities are aligned with the project's overall objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the project's delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a comparable leadership role, managing projects in areas such as offshore or big infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of the legal aspects of project management, including contract law and regulatory requirements.
  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering, project management, or business administration.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, and intrinsically motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and German, with additional languages an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel and work abroad in a yard location environment for an extended period of time.
