Position Overview

As an Asset Accounting Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting for our company's fixed assets. You will be responsible for managing the entire asset lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal, adhering to both HGB and IFRS standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounting for fixed assets across one or more companies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process investment requests and participate in investment planning and monitoring activities.
  • Conduct regular asset inventories to maintain accurate records.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions across departments.
  • Serve as the internal and external point of contact for all asset-related inquiries.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong accounting background and a passion for accuracy.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in accounting.
  • Proven expertise in IFRS/HGB accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in SAP R/3 Module FI/CO and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
