Continuous Improvement Lead
vor 3 Monaten
At TE Connectivity, you will harness your capabilities while collaborating with individuals from various backgrounds and sectors to foster a safer, sustainable, and interconnected world.
Position Overview
The TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) is a comprehensive initiative designed to enhance our operational performance by implementing best practice improvement methodologies. This approach aims to increase efficiency and effectiveness, ultimately leading to greater productivity, customer satisfaction, and shareholder value.
The Continuous Improvement Lead is a full-time role, reporting directly to the Site Manager and indirectly to the Regional TEOA Manager / Director. The management team may adjust this reporting structure as necessary.
This leadership position demands strong organizational, communication, and project management capabilities, along with a demonstrated proficiency in digital tools.
The Continuous Improvement Lead is tasked with defining, directing, and overseeing the TEOA implementation across the entire site. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in TEOA, guiding its deployment.
The role involves collaboration with TEOA and digital implementation teams to promote the development and execution of TEOA and digital culture and processes. This position carries primary responsibility, with shared accountability, for the advancement and outcomes of TEOA and digital initiatives at the site. The Continuous Improvement Lead will also act as the local expert for TEOA tools, while the digital subject matter expert role will be fulfilled by the Digital Factory leader, who reports to the Continuous Improvement Lead (if not appointed, this responsibility will fall to the Continuous Improvement Lead).
The position may require travel to other sites within the business unit, including overnight stays, and emphasizes the importance of supporting and mentoring Lean Practitioners and the Digital Factory team to cultivate independent champions for the deployment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead complex improvement projects, such as the implementation of new material flow systems. Understand digital plant requirements and translate them into digital value creation initiatives. Prepare and monitor the Plant digital budget concerning CAPEX, OPEX, and TEIS Development-Enhancement-Deployment. Ensure digital value creation through the extensive deployment of digital solutions.
