Kernel and Hypervisor Security Software Engineer

Position: Security Software Engineer
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on enhancing security measures for Hypervisors and Linux kernels utilized in our cloud services.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop security tools that support our mission, tackling low-level security vulnerabilities within operating system kernels and hypervisors that constitute our virtualization framework.
You will design and implement scalable security testing tools, including fuzzing techniques, to ensure that secure kernels, hypervisors, and operating system components are consistently delivered.
The majority of the code you will work with is written in C, while our security tools are primarily developed in Python on GNU/Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create code analysis utilities, security scanners, and fuzzing applications
- Enhance and maintain existing security tools
- Assist in identifying vulnerabilities in Kernels, Hypervisors, and associated components
- Reproduce identified security vulnerabilities, propose mitigation strategies, and support their implementation
- Drive ongoing improvements in processes and methodologies

Basic Qualifications:
- Professional experience in software development (non-internship)
- Proficiency in C and at least one scripting language such as Ruby, Python, or Bash
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

- Familiarity with virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of Linux kernels, distributions, or similar operating environments
