We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services Development Center Germany GmbH - R28. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining security tooling for our Hypervisor and Kernel components.
Key Responsibilities- Develop code analysis tools, security scanners, and fuzzing tools to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in our Hypervisor and Kernel components.
- Maintain and improve existing security tooling to ensure it remains effective and efficient.
- Evaluate security problems in Kernels and Hypervisors, and related components, and propose security mitigations.
- Reproduce security issues, propose security mitigations, and contribute to their deployment.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of security and quality.
Our team is comprised of experienced software engineers, security engineers, and systems development engineers who share a passion for improving security and making EC2 and Amazon Linux more secure. We value knowledge sharing, Open Source Software, automation, and helping each other out.
