Installation Project Manager

Transformative Project Management Opportunity

Vestas, a global leader in sustainable energy, is seeking a skilled Installation Project Manager to lead onshore wind installation activities. As a key member of our team, you will navigate complex stakeholder relationships, ensure safe and high-quality project execution, and drive innovation in our rapidly evolving sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective project planning and control strategies
  • Adhere to Vestas management systems, including the Construction Project Execution Manual, HSE, and Quality standards
  • Optimize project programs and deliverables, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution
  • Direct the implementation of new installation concepts, driving innovation and efficiency
  • Plan and deploy resources in accordance with contractual requirements, ensuring seamless project execution
  • Monitor project risk, progress, budget, and performance, making informed decisions to drive success
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting

Requirements:

  • Significant knowledge and experience in project management, with a degree or equivalent in the field
  • 3+ years of experience in an environment where Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment disciplines played a significant role
  • Leadership experience in large-scale projects, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft-based platforms, SAP, and coordination systems
  • Fluent English language skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Valid driving license
