Production Director

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at Sappi, a global leader in wood fibre solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in the production of innovative sustainable packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure efficient production processes and high-quality products.
- Implement and monitor operational strategies to meet production targets and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production management, preferably in the converting, packaging, or paper industry.
- Strong technical understanding of machinery and production processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in German is required; very good level in English.
