Senior Systems Rig Manager for RISE Open Fan

As a key member of the RISE Open Fan Systems team, the **Senior Systems Rig Manager** is tasked with ensuring the readiness of rig tests for designated engine modules. This position requires close collaboration with the module design team, Test Systems Engineering, and Systems Turbomachinery Integrator to facilitate effective rig test execution that aligns with the objectives of the RISE program. The successful candidate will exhibit strong operational judgment to achieve optimal results.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee system-level requirements management
- Serve as the primary liaison for Test Systems Engineering
- Coordinate supply chain logistics for assembly and instrumentation
- Facilitate integration with test facilities
- Collaborate with design engineering on MRB, shop modifications, and DCIDs
- Develop comprehensive test planning and documentation
- Manage the change management process effectively
- Engage with external partners on data systems
- Establish test EHS safety protocols
- Coordinate Interface Control Documents (ICDs) with external partners
- Lead hardware perfection reviews, monitoring, and execution of tests
- Administer program budget for Test Systems Engineering, assembly, and testing
- Extensive experience in Engineering/Technology and Systems Engineering
- Prior experience in turbofan engine development or rig development
- Previous ownership experience of turbofan rigs or engines
- Knowledge of configuration control processes
- Experience in engine assembly and test execution
- Familiarity with quality assurance systems of engine OEMs
- Willingness to be present during critical rig engine phases
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Experience in turbomachinery design or integration
