Job Title: IT Project Senior Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Senior Consultant to join our team at SAP. As a key contact for all topics around ECS technology, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth move to the cloud. This includes planning and orchestrating the implementation and migration of different solutions and technologies, as well as connectivity options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the provisioning and upgrades of system landscapes in a ECS private cloud environment
  • Interface with customers and steering partners/system integrators on operational level during onboarding projects
  • Collaborate with different teams from within the ECS organization and outside to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
  • Provision and manage SAP release upgrades
  • Plan and manage SAP Rise customer datacenter edition projects
Requirements:
  • Certification in a project management methodology (PMP/PMI, Prince2)
  • At least 5 years of experience in planning and orchestration of technology projects
  • Experience in managing SAP release upgrades
  • Proven knowledge about and skills in SAP technology - Basis and hands on experience
  • Experience/successful execution in planning and managing SAP Rise customer datacenter edition projects
  • Knowing ECS environment – SPC automation framework, different ticketing systems ( SNow, SPC, BCP, SAP4me)
  • Profound IT backend technology experience, and familiarity in working with hyperscalers ( AWS, Azure, GCP )
  • Proven datacenter migration experience, and experience in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (due to Spanish speaking customers) - both written and spoken
