Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated intern in the fields of computer science, mathematics, optical engineering, or a related discipline (f/m/x) to assist in the development of a near real-time pipeline for generating MetaHumans from camera footage.
Project Significance
Digital Twins serve as a vital resource to enhance situational awareness for emergency responders and operators of critical infrastructures during crises, thereby facilitating informed decision-making. One effective strategy to achieve this is through the creation of an interactive virtual reality environment that reflects the current situation via a remote service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a pipeline for the creation of MetaHumans within the Unreal Engine utilizing external data sources.
- Currently enrolled as a Master's student in computer science, mathematics, optical engineering, or a similar field.
- Possess foundational skills in Python and C++.
