AI Security Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Security Researcher to join our team at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR). As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust and secure AI methods and algorithms.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop processes and methods for safety-critical AI applications
- Create reliable and explainable AI methods and algorithms
- Ensure the operation and security of AI-based applications
- Secure and utilize sensitive data sets
- Develop execution environments for AI applications
- Research innovative computation methods
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering
- Expertise in various areas of AI, preferably in unsupervised learning and outlier detection
- Knowledge in explainability and uncertainty estimation of AI components/systems
- Competence in training and validation methods in the context of AI
- Understanding of AI-oriented standardization activities
- Good English language skills
- Experience with hardware acceleration
- Ability to process complex scientific concepts
- Experience in scientific project management
- Proficiency in implementing software solutions
- Experience with AI tools and frameworks
