Safety Engineer for Avionics and Electrical Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer for Avionics and Electrical Systems to join our team at engineering people GmbH.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct compliance testing for software, EMI, electrical, communication, navigation, and display systems in accordance with certification requirements.
- Guide suppliers in the development of a dual-channel DAL-B LRU.
- Participate in hardware and software testing (SOI).
- Prepare and conduct development and certification tests on aircraft level.
- Verify mechanical and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Support flight tests by troubleshooting.
- Monitor and control system suppliers.
- Requirements:
- Studies in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in integrating and certifying aircraft avionics systems in accordance with EASA CS23/CS25 and CS-ACNS.
- Knowledge of DC electrical systems, avionics system design, and aircraft certification.
- Knowledge of EMI, software, and airborne hardware development and certification.
- Knowledge of the EASA certification process and certification requirements for avionics systems.
- Good English skills, German skills are an asset.
