Job Title: Technical Account Manager

At AWS Enterprise Support, we're seeking a skilled Technical Account Manager to support our customers' innovative spirit and drive their cloud journey.

The ideal candidate will work closely with customers as a trusted advisor, enabling their cloud adoption and growth of AWS cloud services and technologies to support their business goals.

This role is part of our Strategic Industries team, responsible for strategic accounts and industry business units across global verticals. You'll work with talented cloud technologists, expand your knowledge of AWS products, and have opportunities to develop your technical, consulting, operational, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understand their business needs, and provide monthly/quarterly metrics.
  • Utilize technical skills to solve complex support issues and technical challenges.
  • Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development.
  • Improve customer capabilities by running workshops, operations, and architecture reviews.
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing costs and driving efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three or more of the following: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data, and analytics, security, and applications development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Experience in technical engineering and a Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environments as a technical lead.
