About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch). As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our Enterprise Support customers, helping them to gain the most value from cloud technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build solutions and provide technical guidance to customers
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Consult with a range of partners from developers to C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
  • Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud
  • Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops, brown bag sessions, etc.

Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, Cloud Architect, etc.
  • Understanding of operational parameters and troubleshooting for 2 or more of the following: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development
  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences
  • Ability to juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer obsessed
  • Fluency in either one of the languages: Russian/German
