Dual Study Program for Automation Engineers

As a dual student, you will attend the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf to earn a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Automation Technology. During your 4-year program, you will receive practical training at the Siemens Training Center in Düsseldorf and work alongside experienced Automation Engineers at Amazon in Dortmund. This unique combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience will prepare you for a successful career as an Automation Engineer at Amazon.

Key Qualifications

To be eligible for this program, you should have:

  • General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, or fachgebundene Hochschulreife)
  • Passion for technology and interest in a career in this field
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Ability to work in a team and enjoy collaborative work
  • First-hand experience in the field of electronics, automation, or related areas (e.g., through an internship)
