We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in a commercial law role, providing essential legal support for our business activities.

Position Overview:


  • Your responsibilities will encompass providing legal counsel to our business unit on all aspects of commercial law, including contract law, corporate law, and international legal matters.
  • You will offer legal guidance on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) projects, both domestically and internationally.
  • You will be responsible for designing and negotiating legal processes within a business setting.
  • You will analyse legal issues, developing potential solutions and actionable recommendations.
  • You will represent the interests of our group companies, particularly in advocating for legal positions and claims.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide legal counsel to our business unit on commercial law matters.
  • Offer legal guidance on M&A projects, including domestic and international transactions.
  • Design and negotiate legal processes within a business setting.
  • Analyse legal issues and develop potential solutions and recommendations.
  • Represent the interests of our group companies in legal matters.

Requirements:


  • You have completed legal studies, ideally holding a 2nd state examination or equivalent qualification, with relevant professional experience post qualification.
  • You possess strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and international law, coupled with a solid understanding of compliance.
  • You have an appreciation for economic and technical contexts, with an interest in business and tax matters.
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • You have a strong command of MS Office and an interest in Legal Tech applications.
  • You are proactive, a team player, and possess excellent analytical skills.
