About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at enercity. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance to our business units and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to support the growth and development of our business.
  • Collaborate with our business units and stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide guidance on their impact on our business.

Requirements

  • Admitted to the bar in Germany and have a strong understanding of German law and regulations.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy or utilities sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
