Program Summary:
The Field Representative Development Initiative is designed to cultivate the essential skills and expertise required to collaborate effectively with Cat Dealers, enhancing strategic alignment and customer engagement.
Program Structure:
A comprehensive 1-3 year developmental journey tailored to your growth.Training Phase:
Embark on a 3-month intensive training program (MTC Training Class) where you will gain insights into Caterpillar's products, services, and industry strategies, while also developing influential skills and expanding your professional network within the Europe, Africa, Middle East (EAME) region.Rotational Experience:
Engage in diverse roles across Caterpillar, gaining exposure to various initiatives and products that will propel your career forward.Career Advancement:
Upon completion of the program, you will leverage your accumulated knowledge and experience to partner with Cat Dealers, driving strategic initiatives and enhancing customer satisfaction.Potential Roles After Program Completion:
Electric Power Aftermarket Sales: Formulate strategies for specific industries to boost product sales and increase market presence. Marketing and Sales Operations: Collaborate with Cat dealers to enhance their marketing and digital capabilities.Additional Information:
This program is targeted at recent graduates and professionals with relevant industry experience, aiming to develop skill sets within specific sectors. Following the program, participants will transition into field-based roles supporting Cat Dealers and customers or pursue long-term positions leading to field roles.
Responsibilities:
Acquire foundational knowledge of Caterpillar, its offerings, and clientele. Enhance personal and professional growth through soft skills training and hands-on technical education. Collaborate with industry experts in product development, dealer management, marketing, and sales. Participate in various rotational assignments to understand strategic operations and product offerings. Manage designated territories, acting as a liaison between Cat dealers and Caterpillar.Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Proficiency in English. A degree in marketing, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Willingness to travel 25%-70% based on role requirements. Openness to living abroad for up to 3 months during specific rotations. A valid work permit or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is essential for this position. A valid passport through May 2025 is required.Desired Attributes:
