Opportunity Overview

Avantor is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager for Laboratory Equipment and Consumables to optimize our Account Management Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for laboratory chemicals, reagents, laboratory equipment, and laboratory consumables.
  • Acquire new customers in the sales territory.
  • Provide customer support, consulting, and development services to existing customers.
  • Analyze customer needs and develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Manage sales performance and customer relationships for the sales territory.
Requirements
  • Natural science or business-related education, preferably with initial relevant work experience in sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of laboratory chemicals, equipment, and consumables.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills.
