Account Manager for Laboratory Equipment and Consumables

The Opportunity:
Avantor is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager for Laboratory Equipment and Consumables to optimize our Account Management Team.
This is a full-time position in the Hamburg area and Eastern Schleswig-Holstein. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement sales strategies in the chemical industry. If you have excellent negotiation skills, strong acquisition abilities, and a high level of customer orientation, please apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible sales of laboratory chemicals, reagents, laboratory equipment, laboratory consumables, and comprehensive service offerings
- New customer acquisition in the sales area
- Consulting, customer care, and development of the existing customer base
- Needs analysis
- Targeted and strategic customer potential analysis
- Sales and customer responsibility for your sales area
Requirements:
- Natural science or business-technical education, ideally with initial relevant professional experience in sales
- Your enthusiasm for sales is reflected in your communicative, secure, and dynamic appearance, as well as in your goal-oriented, committed, and self-responsible working style
- Excellent negotiation skills, strong acquisition abilities, and a high level of customer orientation
- Very good German and good English skills
