Gain insights into our tax advisory practice in the realm of US Tax: We provide guidance on German and US tax matters related to employee assignments connected to the USA and specialized US tax issues for high-net-worth individuals.

Your Responsibilities
If you wish to leverage your expertise in international employee assignments to strategically support the Global Mobility Services sector, here’s how you can contribute:

  • Become a specialist in tax advisory for international assignments and high-net-worth individuals, focusing on Germany/USA, while enhancing your knowledge of German and US income tax law.
  • Acquire in-depth expertise in US income tax regulations.
  • Learn to optimally align German and US income tax through the application of double taxation agreements.
  • Prepare income tax returns for internationally active employees, executives, and high-net-worth individuals in accordance with German and US law.
  • Your tasks will include drafting opinions on wage tax and income tax law issues utilizing double taxation agreements.
  • Additionally, assist in US estate tax planning and evaluate exit taxation.
  • Collaborate within an international team, advising HR professionals and executives on tax matters prior to international assignments.
Your Profile
  • To become a (Junior) Advisor (m/w) in Global Mobility Services for US Tax, you should possess a completed degree in law, economics, or finance.
  • Initial knowledge of both German and US tax law is required.
  • A proficient command of standard MS Office applications is expected.
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
