Collaborate with our team in the Global Mobility Services (GMS) sector to support our national and international clients at the intersection of Human Resources and taxation on a global scale. Gain insights into our tax advisory practice focusing on US Tax: we provide guidance on German and US tax matters related to employee assignments in the USA and specialized US tax issues for high-net-worth individuals.

Your Responsibilities
If you are eager to enhance your expertise in taxation and HR, here’s how you can contribute:

  • Become a specialist in tax advisory for international employee assignments and high-net-worth individuals, with a focus on Germany/USA, while expanding your knowledge of German and US income tax law.
  • Receive a comprehensive overview of US income tax regulations.
  • Learn to optimally align German and US income tax through the application of double taxation agreements.
  • Utilize your expertise by assisting in the preparation of German and US income tax returns for internationally active employees, executives, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Participate in US estate tax planning and assess exit taxation issues.
  • Contribute to the drafting of reports and inquiries related to income tax law.
  • Engage in collaborative work within an international team.
Your Profile
  • To become a Student Assistant/Intern in Global Mobility Services - US Tax, you should be pursuing a degree in business or law, or a related field.
  • Ideally, you possess knowledge of tax law and have an interest in US tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications is expected.
  • Strong English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
