Join our dynamic team at STRATO Personal GmbH, where we are seeking a dedicated Systems Integration Testing Specialist (m/f/d) to engage in innovative projects with our esteemed clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and refine testing requirements in collaboration with design teams.
  • Coordinate with testing professionals across various departments, including Propulsion, Energy, and Flight Testing.
  • Determine instrumentation needs based on aircraft and system specifications.
  • Design and create specialized testing equipment for data collection, measurement, and failure simulation, including the development of procedures and documentation.
  • Assess testing concepts by idealizing physical phenomena and applying first-principle reasoning.
  • Develop intricate test setups and manage support teams, including software, mechanical, and electrical CAD, as well as technicians and electricians, while overseeing key suppliers.
  • Oversee E-Motor Test Benches and essential Powertrain Distribution Units on critical Integration Test Benches.
  • Take charge of significant components within the system verification cycle.
  • Conduct test executions utilizing automated testing tools and measurement devices for verification and validation processes.
  • Analyze test reports and results comprehensively.
  • Prepare Failure Analysis Reports and defect documentation as necessary.
  • Communicate and discuss test outcomes with the system development team.
  • Engage in additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant testing experience.
  • Familiarity with multi-kW electrical machines and drives is advantageous.
  • Experience in High Voltage System Integration Labs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of standards such as ARINC 661, ARINC 653, and ARINC 664 is beneficial.
  • Expertise in test instrumentation, execution, and data analysis.
  • Understanding of electrical and communication architectures.
  • Proficient in network protocols including CAN, ARINC, RS422/485, UART, and Ethernet.
  • Solid grasp of mechatronics principles related to sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with a goal-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus.
