Databricks is a leading cloud-based data analytics platform that empowers organizations to make informed business decisions. We're seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to help our customers unlock the full potential of their data.
About the Role
As a Solutions Architect at Databricks, you will play a critical role in helping our customers solve complex data challenges and achieve their business objectives. You will work closely with our customer-facing teams to design and implement customized solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer.
The Impact You Will Have:
- Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on data-driven decision-making and technical champion development.
- Influence business leaders through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
- Be a champion for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Opportunity to continue your development in one of four tracks - technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, and people management.
What We Look For:
- Ability to engage in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
- Capacity to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
- Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s).
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
