Key Responsibilities

The CAM will primarily concentrate on the post-booking phase of our clients' journey, ensuring a successful onboarding and ongoing cloud utilization.

The CAM will work closely with relevant TCE teams or other Oracle departments (such as Product Management, Support, Consulting), as well as Oracle Partners, to determine specific actions and deliverables for each account they oversee. The ultimate objective is to enable customers to swiftly begin utilizing Oracle Cloud while ensuring a comprehensive customer experience throughout the cloud adoption process.

Core Activities :

Facilitate a seamless Customer Activation and Onboarding

Emphasize Activation for new cloud clients and/or workloads, reducing time to first value and accelerating consumption growth Equip clients with essential knowledge, best practices, and methodologies to enhance Customer readiness Provide guidance on the Landing Zone in alignment with our Cloud Specialists team

Oversee the Customer's Adoption Strategy

Regularly assess and adjust the Adoption Strategy with the client to ensure progress aligns with their expectations, facilitating value realization Manage a successful Go-Live as a pivotal milestone for the client

Eliminate Obstacles

Ensure progress and prompt resolution of Service Requests and escalations by engaging relevant teams and advocating for clients Identify systemic issues impacting client usage of Oracle Cloud and initiate discussions with relevant teams (Cloud Operations, Product Management, Sales...) to develop a resolution plan Act as a client advocate for product features and requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in the role of a CAM, we seek individuals who possess the following qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in Technical Cloud engineering roles with a proven history of successful client engagements.

Enthusiastic about Technology with extensive knowledge

Certified on OCI (or equivalent certifications from competitors) – at least OCI Foundations Associate level Strong understanding of the competitive landscape – hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is advantageous

Customer-Centric Focus: Always striving to anticipate client needs and provide the most relevant advice, education, or best practices. Passionate about client success

Communication - Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort engaging across all management levels and IT roles Project Management - Familiarity with common PM methodologies and tools (e.g., Prince2) Results-Oriented to enhance problem resolution and escalation management Strong listening and coordination skills to understand client issues and work towards their resolution. If necessary, engage other teams to ensure effective and timely resolution Analytical problem solver with strong planning and delegation skills. Proactive and demonstrates creative thinking Ability to identify and manage escalations Capable of understanding the client's existing IT landscape, business needs, and their definition of success. Fluent in German and English
