KG Organization Industrial Transformation Business Unit Renewable Energy Solutions Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Senior Professional A Glimpse into Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Director of Hydrogen Systems Innovation at SE TI RES PRM, you will be instrumental in propelling our sustainable hydrogen initiatives. You will guide a skilled team of engineers and scientists to conceptualize, develop, and enhance hydrogen system components, ensuring dependability, efficiency, and scalability. This position presents a remarkable chance to spearhead advancements in the renewable energy landscape and contribute to a greener future. Your Contributions to Success Formulate and execute the strategic vision for hydrogen systems development in alignment with corporate objectives and industry trends Lead and nurture a diverse team of engineers and scientists, promoting a culture of teamwork, creativity, and excellence Supervise the design, enhancement, and evaluation of hydrogen system components, including membranes, catalysts, and electrodes, to improve performance and longevity Coordinate with mechanical production operations in our facility in Berlin Keep informed about emerging technologies and sector advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and ongoing enhancement Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure smooth integration of system components into final hydrogen solutions Establish comprehensive quality standards and protocols to guarantee reliability and safety Maintain detailed documentation of system development processes, results, and insights, and provide regular updates to senior leadership Qualifications You Possess At least 8 years of experience in hydrogen systems development, preferably with leadership responsibilities in system development projects Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree (Master's or higher) preferred Profound knowledge of hydrogen system design, materials, and production processes, with a proven history of successful development and enhancement Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, foster innovation, and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, capable of translating market insights into actionable strategies and initiatives Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to varied audiences, including proficiency in English for communication and presentations
